National Sobriety Day...unlike most holidays instead of celebrating by drinking alcohol is celebrated by not drinking alcohol. It is one day off from drinking. For some one day without taking a drink is nothing. For others, it is a milestone. This day is a test with the ultimate goal of having the world sober. It can also show the problem drinker there is hope. This day will promote no drunk driving. We can show the world that at least one day out of the year the streets are safe. National Sobriety Day will also promote a sobriety base lifestyle. Alcohol affects the health of almost 30 million Americans and even more family members. So celebrate National Sobriety Day on September 10 and take a day off from drinking alcohol.
Our objective of this day is to encourage people to drink responsibly, while giving hope to the problem drinker to quit.
We wish to provide activities and information on what to do and what not to do on drinking.
Happy, Joyous and SoberLife is so wonderful. You go out at night with a group of friends and the next morning you remember everything. No trip out to check your car for dents because you know you didn't hit anything. Heck your cars out there because you didn't have to get a ride home. Your dogs happy because you didn't trip over him last night. The lamp by the window isn't knocked over because you didn't lose your keys and have to crawl through it. The kitchen is clean because you weren't delusional about being a gourmet chef last night. Last but not least the floor in your closet is dry because you didn't mistake the closet for the bathroom. Life is just so much easier if you don't drink.
